V2X Demo Day Highlights Connected Vehicle Capabilities on The Ray Highway

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), The Ray, Kia Georgia, and Panasonic recently hosted a high-profile press conference and live demonstration to showcase the real-world operational capabilities of connected vehicle (CV) technology.

VIPs and journalists experienced the technology firsthand through guided ride-alongs along The Ray Highway. The demonstration highlighted how advanced V2X systems and roadside communications infrastructure deliver real-time safety warnings, improve traffic management, and accelerate the development of intelligent transportation networks.
